Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota has agreed to become the title sponsor of the US Ski and Snowboard Association’s (USSA) 2016-17 US Grand Prix.
The series, which began yesterday (Wednesday) with the halfpipe snowboarding qualification at Copper Mountain, Colorado, will now be known as the Toyota US Grand Prix.
Copper Mountain will today host the halfpipe skiing and big air snowboarding qualifications, with the finals for both events due to take place this weekend.
From January 19-22, Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah will host the qualification and final stages of the snowboardcross and skicross contests, in addition to the snowboardcross team event.
The series will then move on to Mammoth Mountain in California for the halfpipe skiing and slopestyle snowboarding qualification and final events, as well as the slopestyle skiing and halfpipe snowboarding qualifications and finals. All events will run from February 2-5.
