USA Triathlon has announced multi-year renewals with four of its existing sponsors, Competitor Group, FuelBelt, NormaTec and Avis Budget Group.
The Competitor Group’s Triathlete Magazine will serve as a silver-level sponsor and media partner until December 2015. USA Triathlon members will be able to enjoy a discounted subscription to the publication during this period, while also benefitting from the opportunity to compete in the Competitor Group-owned TriRock triathlon series.
Hydration belt manufacturer FuelBelt has enjoyed a decade-long association with the national governing body and is a bronze-level sponsor and the official hydration belt of USA Triathlon through 2016, providing USA Triathlon annual members with 30 per cent discount on its products and participating at membership promotions and giveaways at national championships.
NormaTec sits in the same tier as FuelBelt and is elevated to become the USA Triathlon’s official recovery system through 2017. The company’s patented pneumatic compression equipment will be available to the USA Triathlon and Paratriathlon national team programmes and within the VIP area at age group and collegiate nationals events.
Car rental firm Avis Budget closes out the bronze level with another deal running through 2016, which offers USA Triathlon annual members a range of discount and rental savings. Avis will also benefit from signage and giveaways at more than 3,000 multi-sport events across the US.
