Newly-promoted Bundesliga club Union Berlin has signed a new sleeve partnership with digital property insurance brand ONE.
Under the deal, ONE will take the sleeve asset at Union Berlin for the next two seasons, from 2019-20 to 2020-21.
ONE will also feature on LED perimeter board advertising, cam carpets and other TV-visible signage at Union Berlin’s Stadion An der Alten Försterei. Its other rights include digital activation assets and player and club IP.
The deal is ONE’s first football sponsorship after the company launched in 2018. Headquartered in Liechtenstein but with a growing presence in Berlin, ONE offers household contents and liability insurance exclusively via a mobile app.
It claims to be Europe’s first 100-per-cent digital insurer, and its logo will be visible for the first time on the Union Berlin shirt when the team faces VfB Germania Halberstadt in the DFB Cup this Sunday.
