Ulster Rugby seals dual kit sponsorships

Irish Pro12 rugby union team Ulster has signed four-year shirt sponsorship deals with sustainable building materials manufacturer Kingspan and the Bank of Ireland financial institution.

From 2015 through until 2018, Kingspan will serve as Ulster’s main jersey sponsor, while Bank of Ireland retains its branding space on the back of the team’s playing shirts.

Kingspan first sponsored Ulster in 1999 and secured a 10-year stadium naming rights deal with the club in 2014.

Bank of Ireland has been a sponsor for the past 18 years.

The Belfast Telegraph newspaper said that the new deals were worth around £4.5m (€6m/$6.76m) over the four-year term.

Ulster Rugby chief executive Shane Logan said: “These contracts will ensure long-term sustainability at the province as well as giving us the resource to be able to retain and recruit top talent for the senior team.”
