Uber has entered into is first partnership with the Brasileirão Feminino, Brazil’s top-tier women’s football league.
Under the deal with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), Uber gets display advertising around the competition’s main signage inventory, as well as activation and engagement rights.
There are also plans to involve Uber Eats in promotions around the competition.
Gilberto Ratto, marketing director at the CBF, said. “Women’s football is one of CBF’s defining priorities, and this year will promote two divisions of the Brazilian Championship and for the first time the U-18 national competition to further consolidate women’s football in the country.
“We are sure that it will greatly help in visibility and activation with fans and clubs.”
Uber’s support of women’s football in Brazil includes sponsorship of the women’s teams of Grêmio and Internacional.
