Indian sportswear and sports equipment brand Tyka has agreed a three-year deal with the new Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament.
Tyka will serve as the official kit partner of the Twenty20 competition, which was launched by the cricket boards of Scotland, the Netherlands and Ireland in March.
All six Euro T20 Slam franchises – Edinburgh Rocks, Glasgow Giants, Rotterdam Rhinos, Amsterdam Knights, Belfast Titans and Dublin Chiefs – will wear Tyka manufactured and branded kits.
Rajan Kohli, managing director of Tyka, said, according to Indian news agency IANS: “We feel that the league is not just perfect for the players of Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands but it’s also a great platform for brands like us to come and showcase our work to this part of the world.”
The inaugural event, which will be held from August 30 to September 22, will see the six teams play 30 group stage matches followed by the semi-finals and a final.
