The NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers franchise has agreed a new multi-year deal with carmaker Kuni Lexus.
Under the new agreement, which extends an existing partnership into a ninth year with the 2014-15 campaign, Kuni Lexus will sponsor the club level of the team’s Moda Center, providing branding exposure to the franchise’s most affluent ticket-holders.
The club level has undergone extensive renovation work and features new food and drinks kiosks as well as merchandise outlets, a concierge service and more than 1,500 new comfortable seats.
The deal with the Trail Blazers extends to other events that utilise the club level, including college basketball and Arena Football League gridiron contests as well as concerts.
“This agreement further underscores our corporate partnerships strategy to link the Trail Blazers with brands whose values and cultures closely mirror our own,” said Chris McGowan, the franchise’s president and chief executive.
