Insurance company Vaudoise has extended its title sponsorship of the Tour de Suisse after the InfrontRingier sports and entertainment agency took control of the organisation and marketing of the cycling event.
Under the deal, Vaudoise will continue to benefit from extensive advertising and promotional rights surrounding the tour. The length of the deal was not disclosed.
The company will carry out its sponsorship activation in and around the individual race as well as through the framework programme.
InfrontRingier, a joint venture between the Infront Sports & Media and Ringier agencies, has officially replaced the IMG agency as the organiser and marketer of the tour following the conclusion of this year's event last month, and has created a new brand identity.
InfrontRingier's deal with the Swiss Cycling national governing body had already been announced. In early June, Infront said that it would be responsible for marketing the tour's international media rights from next year's event, which will take place from June 13-21, 2015.
