English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur has entered into a partnership with Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen.
The multi-year deal names IWC as the London club’s official timing partner.
As part of the agreement, the company will have a strong presence across Tottenham’s media channels and will benefit from brand exposure at the club’s new stadium.
The agreement marks IWC’s first with a football club.
Tottenham was earlier this week forced to delay the opening of its new 62,000-seat stadium due to problems with its critical safety systems. As a result, matches against Liverpool on September 15 and Cardiff City on October 6 have been moved to Wembley, with a decision on the game against Manchester City on October 28 set to be made in the coming weeks.
