Japanese conglomerate Toshiba has secured an extension to its sponsorship agreement with Chinese Super League football club Hangzhou Greentown.
The fresh terms are for a further year after Toshiba upgraded its existing sponsorship with Hangzhou Greentown to become the club’s main sponsor in 2014.
In 2011, the Toshiba Air Conditioning subsidiary partnered Greentown, with Toshiba China taking up the sponsorship in 2013.
Toshiba was the exclusive sponsor of the Chinese FA Cup knockout competition from 2011 to 2013.
