Formula One motor racing team Toro Rosso has entered into a partnership with human resources firm Gi Group.
The three-year agreement commences with this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix and will also cover the 2017 and 2018 F1 seasons. The deal names Gi Group as the team’s official HR partner.
Under the agreement, Gi Group’s branding will feature on the race suits and race underwear of Toro Rosso’s drivers, Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat.
Gi Group will also develop selection processes to recruit new personnel to the team, with a particular focus on engineers. In addition, the company will organise training initiatives to ensure team staff are up to the required standard.
Stefano Colli-Lanzi, chief executive of Gi Group, said: “We believe that, thanks to the know-how of both companies, this partnership will be able to enhance the chances of youngsters interested in embarking on a career in the very competitive and technological environment of Formula One.”
