Japanese print company Toppan Printing has agreed to become an official supplier of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, which will take place in the Asian country.
Toppan will work with organisers on the tournament’s marketing programme, which will include various elements of print, and will also launch a series of activations around the event.
Shingo Kaneko, president and representative director at Toppan, said: “Toppan Printing will fully leverage the printing service expertise it has developed over the years to provide support for the tournament and contribute to strengthening Japan’s national teams and promoting the sport of rugby.”
Toppan also has a deal in place to sponsor the 2020 summer Olympic Games, which will take place in the Japanese capital of Tokyo.
