Tokyo 2020 insists new sponsors coming as city’s Skytree signs up

Tokyo 2020, the organising committee for the delayed Olympic and Paralympic Games, claims to be receiving interest from Japanese companies keen to sponsor the event despite the lingering hosting doubts.

Organising committee chief executive Toshiro Muto made the comments as the company that owns and operates Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in the world, joined the pool of third-tier ‘Official Supporters’.
