Japanese noodle producer Nissin Foods has agreed a partnership with the Tokyo 2020 organising committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Nissin has signed on as a domestic second-tier official partner of the Games and has been designated the “packaged noodles and pasta” category.
As an official partner, Nissin will be granted the use of Olympic and Paralympic designations and imagery, as well as emblems, mascots and slogans.
Nissin’s president and representative director Koki Ando said: “We have been supporting a wide variety of sporting activities including providing support to the Japan Olympic team as an official partner of the Japanese Olympic Committee.
“Through our partnership with Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee and our products, we look forward to contributing to the successful delivery of the Tokyo 2020 Games.”
Tokyo 2020’s agreement with Nissin brings the total number of domestic partnerships signed by the organising committee to 38. The figure includes 23 official partners.
