Real estate company Mitsui Fudosan has reached a deal to become a gold partner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Mitsui Fudosan will partner the Games in the category of real estate development.
The agreement makes Mitsui Fudosan the 13th company to join the highest tier of domestic sponsorship for the Games. It is Tokyo 2020’s fourth signing this month alone following previous deals with Asics, Mizuho and Sumitomo Mitsui.
Tokyo 2020 president Yoshiro Mori said: “The involvement of Mitsui Fudosan, which is one of Japan’s leading companies, will have an extremely significant impact on the successful delivery of the Tokyo 2020 Games. As a Tokyo 2020 partner in city development, Mitsui Fudosan will be able to furnish us with much valuable advice and assistance in our efforts to provide the most welcoming and comfortable environment for overseas visitors to the 2020 Games.”
