The Asean Football Federation (AFF) has announced the addition of short-form mobile video platform TikTok as an official supporter of the ongoing 2022 AFF Championship, the national team tournament for countries in Southeast Asia.
The deal brokered by the Sportfive agency, AFF’s exclusive commercial rights partner, marks TikTok’s first foray as an official supporter of the tournament, which commenced on Tuesday. TikTok was previously involved in the 2020 edition as a marketing collaborator to help grow the event’s presence on the platform.
