TikTok signs one-year CAF sponsorship, Umbro inks technical deal

Digital entertainment platform TikTok has struck a one-year deal with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a sponsor of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, as well as the CAF Champions League and the CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations 2022.

The brand’s first major sponsorship in Africa, the agreement includes rights to pre- and post-match content and highlights, along with opportunities to present hashtag challenges, in-app effects and a special hub for the tournaments.
