British spring water brand Thirsty Planet has announced a partnership with the 2013 edition of the Rugby League World Cup.
Thirsty Planet is the official water supplier to the tournament, which kicked off at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday, and will serve as a supplier to all 14 national teams participating in the competition.
Under the agreement, tournament organiser Rugby League World Cup 2013 will make a donation to UK registered charity Pump Aid, which works alongside African communities to provide sustainable clean water and sanitation solutions.
Thirsty Planet will also enjoy prominent visibility throughout the event on match day perimeter boards, in changing rooms and at media conferences.
Last week, Rugby League World Cup 2013 named Thai beer producer Singha Beer as its official beer and cider brand Kingstone Press as its official cider.
