Thailand’s Grand Sport signs ball supply deal with AFF Suzuki Cup

Grand Sport, one of Asia’s largest sporting goods brands, has signed an official match ball supply deal with the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, a biennial football tournament organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).

The competition is accredited by Fifa and contested by the national teams of Southeast Asia.

In the brand’s first ever partnership outside its domestic market, Thailand-based Grand Sport will become the Official Match Ball Supplier for all 28 matches of the tournament, and will also supply referee and ballboy kits.

As an official supplier of Southeast Asia’s most-watched football tournament, Grand Sport can expect high levels of brand exposure and engagement with football fans throughout the region.

As part of the deal, Grand Sport branding will appear on perimeter advertising boards. It also gets rights to sell co-branded merchandise and apparel.

Grand Sport replaces the UK brand Mitre as the ball supplier. Mitre held the rights from 2014 to 2017.
