British automotive manufacturer Jaguar has announced an enhanced two-year sponsorship deal with UCI WorldTour cycling outfit Team Sky.
Jaguar has supplied technical support vehicles to Team Sky since its inception in 2010 and it now becomes an ‘innovation partner’ – a co-operation that will allow the team to integrate Jaguar’s design and engineering resources into its operation.
As an official partner of Team Sky, the Jaguar logo will feature on its riders’ race jerseys and replica kit for the first time.
Team Sky is chasing a third consecutive win at the Tour de France this year, following respective triumphs for British duo Sir Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome in 2012 and 2013.
