US online broker TD Ameritrade has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with the NFL American football league.
The deal has started with the new 2014-15 season, which started yesterday (Thursday), and will run until the end of the 2016-17 campaign. Financial details were not revealed.
TD Ameritrade chief marketing officer Denise Karkos said: “This sponsorship provides new, unique channels through which we hope to grow our business, help our clients and enhance involvement within our local communities.”
NFL senior vice-president of sponsorship and partnership management Renie Anderson added: “We look forward to working with them to develop unique programmes for our fans and players.”
Over recent months, the NFL has added financial services firm Nationwide and food products company Dannon to its commercial roster.
