Swiss luxury watch brand Tag Heuer has renewed its partnership with the Race of Champions for the motor racing event’s 2014 edition, extending its association to a 10th year.
This year’s Race of Champions will be staged at the Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados on December 13-14.
Tag Heuer retains its designation as the official watch and timekeeping partner of the Race of Champions. It will also sponsor the new ROC Skills Challenge, which is designed to test a range of driving skills including chicanes, slaloms, 360˚ and 180˚ turns and parallel parking.
Drivers from a variety of motorsport disciplines including Formula One, World Rally, Le Mans, MotoGP, Nascar and IndyCar are represented at the Race of Champions showcase.
Tag Heuer chief executive Stéphane Linder said: “The Race Of Champions is an absolutely unique experience in this racing universe: the best drivers, all driving the same cars, all taking on the same intense challenges. It is exactly what Tag Heuer’s claim ‘Don’t Crack Under Pressure’ means. The ROC Skills Challenge is a great new idea, and Tag Heuer is proud to be part of it. I can’t think of a better way to mark the 10th anniversary of our partnership with the Race of Champions.”
