Food and drinks producer Nudie has entered into a three-year partnership with the Surfing Australia governing body.
The agreement, which will run until 2019, names Nudie a major partner of Surfing Australia.
As part of the deal, the company will take on naming rights to the body’s Australian Boardriders Battle and Australian Adaptive Surfing Titles programmes. Nudie will also sponsor the Surf for Life programme, the Soldier on Surf Therapy project and the Australian Surfing Awards incorporating the Hall of Fame.
As part of its association with the Australian Boardriders Battle programme, Nudie will invest more than A$450,000 (€303,000/$333,000) over the next three years.
Surfing Australia will produce a host of Nudie-specific content, which will be aired across its digital and broadcast platforms.
Surfing Australia chief executive Andrew Stark said: “Nudie is a fantastic brand that shares our values. The partnership will focus on creating good through multiple touch points across our organisation’s sport, lifestyle and digital platforms.”
