Residential solar power company Sunrun has agreed a multi-year partnership with Major League Baseball team New York Yankees.
From the current 2015 MLB season Sunrun will have a presence throughout Yankee Stadium, including permanent signage near the visiting team on-deck circle, digital signage and title sponsorship of the stadium’s Terrace Rooftop Deck.
Sunrun will also activate the partnership through contests on the Yankee’s official Twitter page, while fans will have the opportunity to visit a Sunrun kiosk demonstrating home solar solutions at Yankee Stadium.
"The New York Yankees are one of the most well known sports franchises in the world and we are incredibly excited to team up with them to show homeowners in New York and across the country that switching to solar with Sunrun is easy and affordable,” Michael Grasso, Sunrun’s chief marketing officer, said.
Sunrun also serves as a partner of MLB franchise the San Diego Padres.
