St. John’s University has renewed its apparel partnership with Nike following the expiration of a six-year deal with Under Armor.
As part of the agreement, Nike will design and supply footwear, apparel and equipment for training and game-day uniforms for St. John’s 17 varsity athletic programs. The deal also includes marketing and promotional opportunities.
St John’s had been with Nike from the mid-1990s until 2013 when it switched to Under Armor after Nike reportedly offered reduced terms on its sponsorship deal following a decline of its athletic program.
