The Spanish Football League (LFP) has expanded its partnerships with Chinese football accessories company Sockatyes and computer game company Konami.
Under the new deals, 14 teams in the Spanish Liga top tier will wear socks that feature the logo of Konami video game Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2015 during the last six match days of the current season.
The LFP in September agreed a deal with Sockatyes to incorporate advertising on players’ socks using an elastic strip that supports the upper area of the sock.
PES 2015 branding will now appear on the Sockatyes elastic strip until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
The LFP did not disclose which teams would be wearing the wearing the socks.
