Southampton has entered into a partnership with energy company Utilita, while rival English Premier League football club Huddersfield Town has renewed a deal with local vehicle dealer Northern Commercials.
Utilita will serve as the official energy and utilities partner of Southampton on a two-year deal, covering the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
Southampton fans that switch to Utilita will receive exclusive offers throughout the 2017-18 campaign, as well as a free smart meter and exclusive access to festival and music tickets through the firm’s partnership with live entertainment promoter, Live Nation.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield has opted to renew a deal with long-standing partner Northern Commercials for the 2017-18 campaign.
Northern Commercials has been in partnership with the club since 2007 and has received branding exposure on the back of the players’ home shirts since 2012.
As the Premier League does not allow sponsorship on the rear of players’ shirts, the firm will now instead have a more active role of sponsorship in and around the John Smith’s Stadium.
