Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach has extended its partnership with French electrical wholesaler Sonepar.
Under the deal, Sonepar will become Official Innovation Partner of the club for the 2019-20 season.
The expanded partnership will allow Sonepar to showcase its electrical goods in co-branded content, at the club’s Borussia Park stadium, and on the club’s digital channels.
On the opening day of the Bundesliga 2019-20 season, Sonepar will bring its Innovation Lab to the Borussia Park stadium. The Innovation Lab is a Sonepar-branded truck where fans get to see demonstrations of new electrical devices such as virtual reality headsets.
Sonepar’s German division belongs to the Sonepar Group – a family-owned company based in France. Sonepar sells electrical goods from national and international suppliers to customers in trade, commerce and industry.
With Sonepar’s renewal confirmed, Borussia Mönchengladbach will enter the 2019-20 season with nine Official Partners, namely AOK, Audi, Bitburger, ELTEN, H-Hotels, Reuter, Santander, Sonepar and Unibet.
The club’s two Principal Partners are front-of-shirt sponsor Postbank and technical sponsor Puma.
