The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB) has extended its sponsorship deal with SMT Shipping for another year.
SMT Shipping currently sponsors the KNCB national club competition and the bulk cargo transportation specialist’s branding features on the shirts of the Netherland’s men’s national team in international competitions.
Through the deal, SMT hopes to grow its brand in Asia – with a particular focus on India – and representatives of the KNCB and SMT are in negotiations to expand the ‘Tours on Demand’ programme in conjunction with bank and main sponsor ABN Amro.
Tours on Demand gives the Dutch national team increased exposure to top level 50-over cricket.
