Telecommunications company Robi has renewed its sponsorship of the Bangladeshi national cricket team after being awarded rights by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Bangladeshi newspaper the Daily Star reported that the new two-year deal will see Robi continue to sponsor the men’s, women’s, U19 teams until 2019.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Daily Star reported that the floor price for bidding for sponsorship rights was Tk 600m (€6.7m/$7.4m).
Robi has sponsored the the national team since 2015.
