Scottish Rugby refreshes sponsor roster with Crabbie’s deal

UK alcoholic ginger beer brand Crabbie’s has entered into a partnership with Scottish Rugby, the governing body of rugby union in the country.

Crabbie’s has agreed a two-year deal to become an official partner of the body until the end of the 2016-17 rugby season.

The company will be given a sponsorship package and pouring rights at Murrayfield, home of the national team, commencing with Scotland’s home match against France in the Six Nations tournament on Sunday.

Crabbie’s will also take on branding rights at both Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors, and will sponsor the 1872 Cup, an annual match between the two Pro12 teams.

Various other marketing campaigns, including naming, pouring, sampling and hospitality rights, will also be organised between the two parties to promote the partnership.
