UK clothing company Harris Tweed has entered into a partnership with Scottish Rugby, the country’s national governing body for rugby union.
Under the three-year deal, Harris Tweed will produce a range of Scottish Rugby products, through a collaboration with the body and retailer, Walker Slater.
Although the company is based in Scotland, Harris Tweed has a presence in markets around the world, including Japan and the US.
Dominic McKay, chief operating officer of Scottish Rugby, said: “In the global market place in which we operate, it’s important that we can extend the international dimension of Scottish Rugby and generate awareness of our brand.”
