San Miguel renews partnership with Valencia Basket Club until 2020

Spanish beer brand San Miguel has renewed its historic partnership with Valencia Basket Club until 2020.

The brand has renewed with the men’s team, which San Miguel has sponsored for over 20 years, and for the first time, has also added the club’s women’s team to the partnership.

Valencia Basket Club’s men’s team competes in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague, and the women’s team competes in Spain’s DÍA League.

Guillermo Rubert, territorial director at Mahou San Miguel, said: “The renewal of this agreement could not have happened at a better time, as we have just celebrated our twentieth anniversary with the club.”

San Miguel is currently a second-tier partner at Valencia Basket Club, alongside Ford and technical sponsor Luanvi, but below Pamesa Cerámica, Zurich and Coca-Cola.
