Erreà ups presence in Italian basketball with Lega Basket deal

Italian sportswear brand Erreà has signed as the Official Technical Sponsor of Lega Basket Serie A, Italy’s top-flight basketball league.

Under the deal, Erreà will be present at all the main events organised by the LBA.

In addition to Serie A, the LBA organises the Italian Super Cup, the ‘Final Eight’ Italian Cup competition and the recently-launched Next Gen Cup – a youth tournament reserved for the 16 Serie A under-18 teams.

Commenting on the deal, Angelo Gandolfi, president of Erreà Sport, said the deal was important to consolidate the brand’s position as the leading kit partner in Serie A. The brand has individual kit deals with Brescia, Cremona, Pesaro, Pistoia and Venice.

Egidio Bianchi, president of LBA said that the deal was the result of the league’s new commercial project which aims to increase the number of sponsors and partners in league events.
