Major League Baseball team the San Francisco Giants has entered into a partnership with bikeshare company LimeBike.
The deal names LimeBike as the official bikeshare partner of the Giants’ 2018 spring training in Arizona, one of the company’s key markets. Caen Contee, LimeBike vice-president of marketing and partnerships, said he hopes the partnership will develop into a long-term arrangement.
The Giants’ spring training will take place at Scottsdale Stadium. LimeBike will station bikes at the ballpark to provide supporters with a sustainable transportation option on game days.
Riders can use the code ‘LIMEGIANTS’ for $3 (€2.40) worth of ride credits. Fans will also be eligible to receive co-branded LimeBike and Giants gear.
The Giants’ spring training games began this week and conclude on March 23.
