The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has agreed a new sponsorship deal with Samsung.
Terms of the agreement were undisclosed, but the Korean electronics giant becomes the Brazilian national team’s 13th commercial partner ahead of the country’s staging of the Fifa World Cup next year.
The deal comes after food company BRF and health services firm Unimed Seguros signed contracts with the CBF in June, while airline Gol Linhas Aéreas became a partner in May.
The CBF’s sponsor roster also includes Nike, Itau, Vivo, Guarana Antarctica, Nestle, Extra, Gillette, Volkswagen and MasterCard.
The CBF’s latest deal was unveiled at a press conference in Brasilia on Monday.
