Japanese HR brand HITO Communications has signed a new partnership as an Official Sponsor of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
As an Official Sponsor of the World Cup, HITO will sit on the second branch of the tournament’s sponsorship tier alongside Canon, Toto, Secom, Taisho Pharmaceutical, Mitsubishi Estate and NEC.
HITO is already a supporter of rugby union in Japan, having sponsored the Sunwolves Super Rugby team since 2016.
The tournament’s sponsorship programme also includes six Worldwide Partners: Emirates, Heineken, Land Rover, Mastercard, Société Générale and DHL.
In the Official Supplier tier sit Gilbert, Tudor, Toppan Printing, Canterbury, NTT Docomo, EY, a conglomerate of newspaper companies, Suntory Holdings Limited and Aggreko.
This year’s Rugby World Cup will take place from September 20 to November 2. More than 83 per cent of all tickets for the tournament have already been sold.
