Swiss watchmaker Rolex has been named as the new title sponsor of men's ATP World Tour tennis event the Paris Masters.
Rolex has served as the official timekeeper of the Paris Masters since 2007 and has now signed an expanded partnership with the French Tennis Federation (FFT), which organises the event, to take on naming rights to the tournament. The new 10-year deal will run until 2027 and officially renames the tournament as the Rolex Paris Masters.
Rolex replaces French financial services company BNP Paribas as the event’s title sponsor. BNP Paribas had held naming rights since 2001.
Rolex will benefit from courtside brand exposure, hospitality packages and promotion through digital content.
This year’s Paris Masters runs from October 28 to November 5 at the AccorHotels Arena. Britain’s Andy Murray is the defending champion.
With a 1000 designation, the Paris Masters is one of the leading tournaments on the ATP calendar.
