German food retail group Rewe has agreed a title sponsorship deal for the Handball Bundesliga’s showpiece Final 4 event.
The three-year partnership is effective from this year’s Final 4 on May 9-10 at Hamburg’s O2 World arena and runs through until 2017.
Rewe will benefit from extensive visibility at the event through on-court advertising, LED boards, hoardings and branding on the kits of the mascots who are to accompany players onto the court. The company will also enjoy a presence across the Handball Bundesliga’s media output, including its official website and social media channels.
Additionally, Rewe will sponsor two other major Handball Bundesliga properties – the Super Cup and All Star Game. The financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
