TWS, a manufacturer of resins and polyurethanes for the textiles, tanning and stickers industry, has agreed a deal to become the new main sponsor of Italian Serie A football club Atalanta.
The two-and-a-half-year deal will cover the remainder of the 2016-17 season, as well as the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns.
TWS’s branding will feature on the front of Atalanta’s playing jerseys as part of the agreement, which commenced with the club’s 1-0 win over Crotone on Saturday.
Atalanta has enjoyed an impressive 2016-17 season and currently sits fifth in the table.
Matteo Pinciroli, owner of TWS parent company Xenturion Holding, said: “At the moment we believe that Atalanta is the most beautiful story of the league, so when this possibility was proposed I immediately said yes.”
