Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has extended its premium partnership with Volkswagen Group until the end of the 2020-21 season.
As part of the deal, the automotive group will promote its Volkswagen brand and the VW-owned Porsche through RB Leipzig channels.
Volkswagen will also have LED exposure at RB Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena and will provide a fleet of cars for RB Leipzig players and staff.
The brand first partnered with RB Leipzig in 2014, when it was still in the 2. Bundesliga, and stayed with the club following its promotion to the Bundesliga in 2016.
Volkswagen also has partnerships with five other Bundesliga clubs: VfL Wolfsburg – where Volkswagen owns the club and acts as its main shirt sponsor – Werder Bremen, Hannover 96 and Eintracht Braunschweig.
