Razer signs as Official Esports Partner of SEA Games 2019

Singaporean video game hardware firm Razer has signed as the Official Esports Partner of the Southeast Asia Games 2019.

At next year’s Games, esports will be recognized as a medal sport for the first time.

As the Official Esports Partner, Razer will provide the games with an ecosystem of hardware, software and esports services.

As the esports events that will feature in the Games are yet to be decided, Razer will facilitate negotiations between video game publishers and the Philippines Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PhilSGOC).

PhilSGOC expects the final line-up of titles that will feature at the Games to be announced in the next few months.

Founded in 2005 and dual-headquartered in Singapore and San Francisco, Razer has 15 offices worldwide and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
