Virtual reality solutions company Beyond Sports has entered into a partnership with Dutch Eredivisie football club PSV Eindhoven.
The length of the deal was not disclosed, but it will at least cover the 2016-17 Eredivisie season, which got underway earlier this month.
The agreement names Beyond Sports as PSV’s preferred supplier for VR technology and related services.
PSV’s first team and youth sides will use Beyond Sports’ state-of-the-art technologies during training sessions as part of the deal. The technologies allow coaches to set up specific in-game scenarios to practice a certain style of play or tactic.
