French Ligue 1 football club Paris Saint-Germain has agreed a partnership with clothing company Levi’s.
The American firm will develop PSG-branded attire throughout the 2015-16 football season and has agreed to introduce an extended collection for the spring and summer of 2016.
The Levi’s iconic trucker jacket will be rebranded to include the PSG logo. Fans that purchase the jacket will also be able to customise it further.
“Developed with a leading American brand, this collaboration demonstrates once more the capacity of the club to differentiate itself from others while providing its growing audience with new ways to share their passion in their everyday lives,” Fabian Allègre, director of brand diversification at PSG, said.
Santiago Cuchy, vice-president of Levi’s Europe South, added: “With the launch of the Levi’s x 49ers NFL Collection last year, we saw a tremendous amount of success and excitement that we wanted to build on. As such, it was important for us to work with an equally iconic brand that shared our passion for the inspiring city of Paris. Our collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain does just that.”
