Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has broadened its portfolio of European football club partners by agreeing a deal with French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain.
Under a contract running for the next three seasons, Huawei becomes an ‘official partner’ of PSG, providing the Ligue 1 champion with the latest smartphones and hand-held devices.
Huawei has also signed deals with English Premier League club Arsenal, German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund and Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan, along with the Spanish Football League (LFP), over the past 12 months.
Song Kai, general manager of Huawei France, said: “This strategic partnership will help develop the Huawei brand in France and in Europe and show consumers the latest uses and experiences available on our terminals.”
PSG’s second-tier official partner roster also includes QNB, Orange, Citroen, PMU, Go Sport and beIN Sports.
