Writing instruments manufacturer Pilot Pen has signed up as the latest sponsor of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, which gets underway in Singapore next month.
Pilot Pen Singapore will be the official writing instruments partner of the 28th SEA Games in a deal worth S$500,000 (€332,000/$377,000).
The 28th SEA Games will involve Pilot sponsoring over 150,000 writing instruments and accessories for the multi-sport event.
In 2010, Pilot served in a similar role for the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympics Games. In addition to the sponsorship, the brand spearheaded ‘The Write Choice for Champions’ initiative aimed at motivating schools all around Singapore to promote the Games.
The 2015 SEA Games runs from June 5-16 and the Pilot deal means sponsorship revenue has now moved past the S$75m mark.
