Motorsport footwear specialist Alpinestars and motorcycling apparel company Acerbis have agreed deals with the Motocross World Championship.
Alpinestars has extended its partnership with the competition in order to continue in its role as the official technical protection partner.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Alpinestars will provide competitors with protective footwear for use during the event.
Meanwhile, Acerbis has signed a multi-year contract to become an official sponsor of the Motocross World Championship.
The deal will run for three years, from 2015 until 2017.
The 2015 Motocross World Championship began in Qatar on Sunday, with the next round of the competition due to take place in Thailand on March 8.
