The organising committee behind Paris’s bid to host the 2024 Olympic Games has agreed a partnership with the city’s airport authority Groupe ADP.
Under the agreement, Groupe ADP will promote the bid at the two major Paris airports it operates, and in its Paris Worldwide magazine.
Groupe ADP becomes the bid’s second official supplier alongside the Air France airline, which agreed a deal last month.
Paris 2024 co-chairman Bernard Lapasset (pictured) said: “France and Paris are top global tourist destinations and Groupe ADP manages the main gateway for visitors to our country. Their quality services and knowledge of the tourism industry will be invaluable to the bid.”
Paris faces competition from Budapest, Los Angeles and Rome in its bid to stage the 2024 Games. The International Olympic Committee will announce the host city in September 2017.
