Japanese electronics manufacturer Panasonic has reached a deal to become an official national partner of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic winter Games in the audio-visual equipment category.
Under the deal, Panasonic will supply audio and video equipment including LED large screen display systems, professional audio systems, flat-screen televisions, digital cameras and broadcasting equipment to competition venues and the International Broadcasting Centre.
Panasonic was an official partner of the 2006 Paralympic winter Games in Turin, Italy.
The Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games begins this week and will run from March 7-16.
Panasonic becomes the 14th national partner of Sochi’s Paralympics alongside Aeroflot, Bosco, Coca-Cola, Dow, GE, MegaFon, Omega, RBC-TV, Rostelecom, RZD and Rosneft.
