Healthcare company Omega Pharma has renewed its co-title sponsorship of UCI WorldTour cycling team Omega Pharma – Quick Step.
Following a highly successful association in 2012 and 2013, during which the team recorded in excess of 100 victories, Omega Pharma retains its designation with flooring company Quick Step for the next two seasons.
British sprint star Mark Cavendish added the UK Road Race title to his decorated career during his first season with the Belgian team this year, while Polish youngster Michal Kwiatkowski won his national road race and was Omega Pharma – Quick Step’s highest-ranked rider in the Tour de France general classification.
“We are really happy about our relations with the team not just for the results, but the culture of the team and what the team represents in the world of cycling image wise,” Omega Pharma chief executive Marc Coucke said.
